Regarding Aquadine's upcoming release, I want to be as transparent as possible because things have been really stressful for me lately with Steam. Just want to get it off my chest in case things don't go according to plan. This is due to a combination of my inexperience as well as potential delays in the review process because of covid. Before, I had no idea I could just send any early build for review, then just update with a final version later after it's been approved. I thought whichever build they review has to be the one that goes live. Steam reviewing store pages and builds takes days, and if something goes wrong, you have to go through the entire review process again. It also takes around a full day to get a reply when trying to reach out to their support. There's also a mature content survey that needs to be filled before submitting a build for release. If the contents of the build don't line up with the survey filled out in some way, you'll have to go through the whole process again. You can't just make the changes they tell you to do without resubmitting for review, which again takes days. Currently on my third submission with the game build. And then I think there's a weird glitch with the DLC app. They approved the store page for it, but the depot was somehow missing in the build review. I can't even resubmit it because they say my store presence checklist is incomplete, even though they already approved it! Like WTF! Of course, I already reached out to Steam support, but it'll take a while before they can get back to me and allow me to resubmit that. There's still a chance I could release on Steam on time. But if that doesn't work out, I'll at least release on Itch first so you guys can play the game.
